Kendriya Vidyalaya Chikkmagaluru was established in the year 2007 . It started functioning with classes from I to V in a temporary building provided by DEIT. in the 2023 the school moved to its permanent building situated in a sprawling 10 Acres campus situated opposite to CIMS, Kadrimidri, Amble Industrial Area.
The New School building has state of the art infrastructure with well equipped laboratories and computer lab, classrooms, facilities for divyang etc. The school has the strength of 364 students. The School also has well trained faculty. The School has classes from I to X . Students of Parents from category I to IV of rural backgrounds are enrolled in the vidyalaya. The School produced excellent results in the last 2 years. Three Students were District toppers in the year 2022. The School caters to all round development and encourages the participation in all activities like sports, scouts and guides, kala uthsav, EBSB activities etc.
